The Villager

Scott Morrison

Founder, 3x1

Sleepy Hollow, NY

Launching his bespoke denim label 3×1 left Morrison little time for the sacred sojourns he once enjoyed at his Phoenicia, New York weekend home, where he found solace through 11 of his 18 years in Manhattan. Lower East Side life was vibrant, but the perpetual bustle left an aching void.

We wanted more space and to reconnect with nature.

The reality for us is that the city has always been work-focused, and it was never somewhere we envisioned ourselves raising a family.

Becoming parents amplified the desire felt by Scott and his wife, model Gracileia Souza, to find a compromise combining the best of both their worlds as his latest line—and their family—grew.

Bedford Hills Station

46 Depot Plaza Bedford Hills, NY 10507

It has the proximity to the city but this almost magical out-of-the-way feel to it. Living here gives you the chance to disconnect, unplug and feel balance in life.

The community, character and natural wonder of their Sleepy Hollow neighborhood rekindles fond memories of Scott’s childhood in Palm Springs. He can walk to the train from home, keeping his SoHo office in easy striking distance.
