The weather was perfect for the Somers Community Day on September 7. An event hosted by the Somers Chamber of Commerce, the annual Somers Community Day is a time for residents to gather and celebrate all that Somers has to offer.

Houlihan Lawrence joined in the fun, inviting guests to try their luck on the prize wheel for a chance to win fantastic prizes all for a good cause. Proceeds from the fundraiser were distributed among three incredible charities, Stephanie’s Mission, National Association for Mental Health (NAMI) and Making Strides for Breast Cancer of Westchester. Agents in the office also contributed baked goods sold to profit the Making Strides foundation even further. Altogether, the team raised over $1,600!

The wheel was spinning all day as participants spun for tickets to win fantastic baskets full of goodies donated by many local businesses along with agents from the Houlihan Lawrence Somers office. There were liquor baskets, kids baskets as well as a spa basket offering players lots to choose from. The Lottery basket was especially popular as were the Dine Around baskets giving the lucky winners a lot to smile about.

It is such a wonderful day for all in the community and Houlihan Lawrence was thrilled to be again be part of the action. We look forward to seeing you there again next year!
