The transition from spring to summer always brings on a wave of house tours, which showcase our area's best architecture, home design, historical flare and more. Agents across Houlihan Lawrence have been tapping into their local communities to produce and host unique events, as we saw with the "Castles of New Castle" House Tour a few weeks ago.
Hosted by the Larchmont Historical Society and co-sponsored by Houlihan Lawrence, co-chair and board member Suzanne Moncure conceptualized the "What's Cooking in Larchmont" tour, which took attendees through eight houses on Saturday, June 2.
"The best gift that I could have received for 25 years of service in the real estate industry was to have friends and clients give me their kitchens for the most successful house tour that the Larchmont Historical Society has ever had," Suzanne says. "As co-chair of this event, I paired eight local chefs with eight beautiful kitchens."
Anna Maria Restaurant, Coriander (Modern Indian), Crush Wine Bar, Espana Wine & Tapas Bar, Larchmont Meateria, Plates, Vintage 1891 Kitchen and Wasabi provided some of their best fare for the event, enhancing and highlighting the homes' kitchens while feeding the appetites of tour goers.
