    Got a hankering for a chilled cocktail on a sultry summer night? Here are some nearby eateries that serve beverages under the stars.

    Mt. Kisco

    For sunset views over the bustling business district in Mt. Kisco, head to Winston, a tri-level restaurant where summer signature cocktails include the Cucumber Gimlet, the Pomegranate Mojito, and the Gentleman Fig. Winston’s rooftop bar serves cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as tasty bar fare. Look for happy hour specials and reserve a seat on Wednesday nights for live jazz performances en plein air.

    Bedford

    Bedford 234, in the heart of Bedford Village, serves up refreshing beverages and an ever-evolving menu of lively food on its covered terrace. Take a seat, raise your glass (we recommend that it’s filled with the house strawberry margarita), and make new friends at this casual eatery that promotes Hudson Valley ingredients, beers, and spirits.

    Pound Ridge

    The Vodka Thyme Lemonade at the Inn at Pound Ridge can be sipped outdoors on the back patio.  The refreshing cocktail of Skyy Citrus Vodka, lemons, and thyme offers the perfect salve to quench your thirst before moving indoors for dinner. Other summer drink specials include the Cucumber Mint Martini and the Blackberry Cooler.

    North Salem

    One Twenty One in North Salem offers outdoor seating for both cocktails and dining. A favorite summer refreshment is the Strawberry Basil Margarita—a blend of tequila, muddled basil, strawberry puree, Triple Sec, and lime.  For something with a bit more of a bite, you might consider the Nobody’s Mule with vodka, jalapeno, cilantro, lime, and ginger beer.  Happy hour runs from 3 pm to 6 pm daily with $5 draft beers, $6 mixed drinks and house wine, $10 cocktails, and a tempting snack menu.

    South Salem

    One Twenty Three Restaurant in South Salem has an extensive martini menu that includes Godiva, Nutty, Apple, and Espresso varieties.
