    According to the American Cancer Society, about 232,340 cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women this year. Another 22,240 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

    As fall rounds the corner, Houlihan Lawrence is gearing up for another fundraising season to benefit three key organizations in the fight against breast and ovarian cancer.

    As a sponsor to the Miles of Hope, Support Connection, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks, Houlihan Lawrence raised close to $60,000 for support, awareness efforts and research in 2012. This year, our offices will again raise funds money through bake sales, happy hours, holiday boutiques and more for three walks set on the following dates:

    Miles of Hope: James Baird Park, Sunday October 6 at 9 a.m.
    Support Connection: FDR State Park, Sunday October 6 at 9 a.m.
    Making Strides: Manhattanville College, Sunday October 20 at 9:30 a.m.
