It’s been a long and tenuous road for real estate recovery not just nationally, but in smaller, local markets across towns, villages and small cities across the country. Sailing out of 2012, I am pleased to announce that our Houlihan Lawrence Pelham brokerage has increased its sales volume by an impressive 42 percent from 2011.

Although the Pelham office is not particularly large in size, the superior performance of our top-notch agents is evident in the sales statistics. Our market share of Pelham sales has grown by almost 4 percent* since 2011 even in a down economy, continuing the overall upward trend from when our office first opened in 2004. Eighty percent of our agents enjoyed multi-million dollar sales in 2012, which pays tribute to their professionalism, their knowledge of the real estate market and their commitment to stand by their clients until a successful outcome has been achieved.

The oldest town in Westchester County, Pelham packs a mighty punch in just 2.2 square miles with an active social community and an easy 30-minute train ride from Grand Central into New York City. A strong arts presence (Pelham Art Center, The Picture House) adds to the small-town character of Pelham, a place where our agents work hard to help people find their own sense of home.
