    On the Farm Dinner

    Just down the road, the John Jay Homestead will be celebrating the homestead’s agrarian history from 6:30 to 10 pm on Saturday with an outdoor farm-to-table dinner and fundraiser. Purdy's Farmer & the Fish will provide cocktails, oyster bar, and farm-fresh dishes.

    Caramoor Center for Music & the Arts kicks off its 2018 musical season on Saturday evening, June 16, with a glamorous dinner party under the big, white tent, followed by a performance by record-breaking winner of six Tony Awards, Audra McDonald, who returns to Caramoor bringing her exceptional talents. Guests are in for what promises to be a blockbuster performance of the American Songbook, as brought to life by the inspiring force of a Broadway legend and Caramoor’s exceptional orchestra-in-residence, Orchestra of St. Luke’s.

    Looking for a kid-friendly alternative? On Sunday afternoon, June 17,  Caramoor presents an hour-long, family-friendly concert for a younger audience to engage with and get excited about music both familiar and new. Brooklyn-based orchestral collective The Knights and steel pan virtuoso Andy Akiho interact with the audience to inspire curiosity, encourage musical discoveries, and — of course — have fun.
