For the past 130 years, we've been thankful for the incredible lifestyle Westchester has to offer, of which there's no ingredient more sacred than our land. The generous acreage surrounding private homes; the sprawling equestrian properties that set a pastoral tone in our communities; the land preserves that limit development, provide us with recreational walking trails, protect wildlife habitats, and keep our water clean.

Houlihan Lawrence has been proud to sponsor the Westchester Land Trust, which has been at the forefront of preserving land cross-county for three decades. Twelve of the 29 preserves WLT owns have trails and are readily accessible to the public year-round and free of charge.

The organization will hold its annual benefit at the Rockefeller Playhouse on Saturday, June 2nd, celebrating its milestone year and the conservation legacy of the late David Rockefeller. The cocktail reception will include a strolling dinner, dancing and a silent auction benefitting the worthy cause.

The venue couldn't be more timely: WLT recently secured a 60-acre conservation easement on Rockefeller's "Hudson Pines," the Mott Schmidt-designed estate we listed and sold in March.

Purchasing your ticket to attend won't just get you exclusive access to the venue, but support an ever-growing list of causes right in our backyards. We hope to see you there.
