    There is an ample supply of fireworks for this Independence Day weekend.

    July 3, 2011 – 6pm – 10pm:  Kensico Dam Music Fest, Music and Fireworks.  Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla

    July 3, 2011 and July 4, 2011 – 9:30pm:  Fireworks on the Rye Playland Pier, Rye Playland, Rye.

    July 4, 2011 – 9pm:  The Grucci Brothers present “Spark the Sound” – fireworks and music at Five Islands Park, New Rochelle

    July 4, 2011 – 9pm:  The Grucci Brothers present “Independence Day by Grucci”, at Port Chester High School, Port Chester.

    June 30, 2011 – 6-10pm:  The City of White Plains presents its Independence Day Celebration with entertainment, food and fireworks.  White Plains High School, North Street, White Plains.

    July 4, 2011 – 9pm:  Fireworks at Mamaroneck Harbor, Harbor Island, Mamaroneck.

    In addition to the pyrotechnics, there are many historic celebrations on Monday, 4th of July that commemorates our Independence:

    Independence Day Celebration, St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site.  Columbus Avenue, Mount Vernon. 10:30am

    “Independence Day 1851” – celebrated at Sunnyside, the historic home of Washington Irving, located in Tarrytown. 11am-3pm:

    July 4th Jamboree!   – celebrated at the John Jay Homestead, located in Katonah.  11am – 4pm.
