The Pound Ridge Partnership announced today that Cracker will be headlining the Pound Ridge Harvest Festival when the annual event rises from the fields of the Pound Ridge Town Park on Saturday, October 13, 2018.

Houlihan Lawrence will once again serve as a Platinum Sponsor for the day’s activities. Join us from 1 to 6 pm as we celebrate local food and culture alongside great music and activities. Local restaurants, specialty food purveyors, and craft breweries will provide something for every member of the family, including games, rides, and prizes for kids.

The music stage with be a major draw as always, due not only to the local talent that warms up the crowd but also to Cracker, whose best-selling album, “Kerosene Hat,” went gold in 1993.  According to the band, "Cracker has been described as a lot of things over the years: alt-rock, Americana, insurgent-country, and have even had the terms punk and classic-rock thrown at them. But, more than anything Cracker are survivors. Cofounders David Lowery and Johnny Hickman have been at it for almost a quarter of a century--amassing ten studio albums, multiple gold records, thousands of live performances, hit songs that are still in current radio rotation around the globe ('Low,' 'Euro-Trash Girl,' 'Get Off This,"  and 'Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out With Me' to name just a few), and a worldwide fan base that, despite the major sea-changes within the music industry, continues to grow each year."

Every year, the Pound Ridge Partnership contributes the festival’s proceeds to the betterment of the town. This year is no exception, and the funds will be used to support a stadium-seating project in the town park--a joint project with the town’s recreation department.
