Here at Houzz, we are kookoo for kitchens. Whether they are ultra sleek and minimal, or cozy farmhouse rooms, or anything in between, any kitchen could use a little styling enhancement from food when getting ready for its close up. This stylist has cleverly matched the bowls with the neutral color palette, but the purple and green give just the right pop of color. If you look closely, you can see that they pick up on the green plants on the shelf in the back of the room.

This beautiful kitchen has farmhouse touches like butcher block, wooden chairs, Shaker details and latch hardware, yet it has a clean modern look due to all of the light and white. What brings this image home is that it looks like someone is busy chopping vegetables and arranging flowers in there. In other words, it looks like it's used, in a good way.

This home has some interesting sculptures throughout, and the foods they've styled with are unexpected and sculptural. I think those are plantains on the counter, and I have no clue what that big gourd is over by the window, but whatever they are, their sculptural forms kick up this kitchen's style a notch.
Realtors often tell you to boil apples before a showing, and this big wooden bowl of apples has the same homey and welcoming effect in a photo.
This photo is great because it shows off how some of the clever cabinet features can be used, for example, the cereal and milk breakfast prep area, conveniently located next to the refrigerator.
This kitchen tells a bit of a story, of a host or hostess getting ready for a dinner party in a very stylish space.
