The Village of Scarsdale is showing its hip side this September by hosting the first-ever Scarsdale Music Festival.

The all-day music festival takes place on Saturday, September 14th from 12:00-6:00p.m.  Clear your Saturday schedule and head over to this North of NYC suburb to be part of the very-first Scarsdale outdoor music festival and hear. taste and see what all the excitement is about.

First up, the Houlihan Lawrence Family Fun Zone: No reason to leave the kids at home while you head to the party, bring them along and meet some new friends! The Fun Zone features two bouncy castles, face painting, balloon artists and fun giveaways sponsored by Houlihan Lawrence, the top producing Real Estate Brokerage in the village.

Next stop, the Zachys Wine and Beer Tent: Zachys, the premier stop for all your libation needs. Celebrating it’s 75^th Anniversary, Zachys will be hosting a wine & beer tasting tent showcasing a large variety of vendors.  Purchase your bracelet here  (21+ older please).

In addition to drinks, there will be plenty to eat for the festivalgoers. Food trucks and tents will offer a variety of tasty options including  Waffle Box Food Truck, Sapori, Graziella Food Truck, Sloppie Joes Food Truck,  Pizza Vitale Food Truck, Ice Cream for Fun, 808 Bistro , and a BBQ Cookout by the Scarsdale Police Benevolent Association.

And finally for the main attraction…the bands! It wouldn’t be a music festival without the bands and the day is packed with 7 performances. Get your groove on, rock out, or dance the day away as these local groups take the stage.

While you’re enjoying the festival, you can tap your own inner rock star by entering the raffle to win a guitar from Rudys Music located right in Scarsdale Village.  This local guitar store is giving away one Fender Squire Active Jazzmaster Electric Guitar and one Yamaha APX600 acoustic electric guitar to the lucky winners, which will be drawn at the end of the event.
